Thank you to the Trexler Trust!
We are deeply grateful to the Trexler Trust for their on-going partnership. This year, in particular, their support will make it possible for us to care for and walk with our most vulnerable community members, whose needs continue to evolve as a result of the complex impacts of the pandemic.
Thanks to City Center!
Please help us thank City Center Allentown for their recent donation of $10,000 to support our RCI Village housing program! City Center has supported the RCI Village for the past four years, even as the program was just a budding idea that we were working to make a reality for our community. Their support continues to help us provide safe, stable, deeply affordable housing for our neighbors who have experienced homelessness or housing instability.
The RCI Village housing program helps individuals and families permanently exit harmful cycles of homelessness and housing instability by providing permanent, safe, and deeply affordable housing. The program currently houses 21 residents. Beyond housing, the RCI Village program includes a suite of wrap-around services and community building opportunities that support residents in successfully maintaining stable housing and, in turn, healthier and more stable lives. As one resident recently stated, “It’s more than just a home to me. It’s a safe place, and it’s a family. Some of us have such dysfunctional families. Like today, we’re having a potluck so we can get to know all our neighbors. So, to me, it’s a family. It’s a beautiful feeling calling it home.”
“One of the goals of City Center’s Building Community initiative is to ensure that our most vulnerable neighbors remain integrated into our community, even as the city changes and grows,” said City Center President J.B. Reilly. “We’re pleased to support Ripple Community’s transformative approach, which goes beyond housing to offer people a source of community, stability and belonging.”
Thanks to the Rider-Pool Foundation!
