Let's talk about shoes. Shoes are on the long list of things that most of us take for granted. But for our friends who are homeless, a bad pair of shoes - shoes that don't fit, shoes that are full of holes, shoes that can't keep your feet warm or dry - are one of those things that can make winter truly long, miserable, and dangerous.

Well, thanks to a very generous donor and our friends at Assembly88 in Allentown, members of the RCI community had something big to smile about this Christmas: new warm and sturdy winter boots! Many thanks to everyone who helped to make this a season of comfort and joy.
